GLITEX® 525MS (silicone tubing)

Glitex® 525MS Silicone Tubing is a high-performance fluid transfer system developed for specialized industries. It is manufactured under strict quality controls to deliver consistency from batch to batch.

Glitex® 525MS Silicone Tubing

Glitex® 525MS Silicone Tubing is designed for sanitary fluid transfer in food, dairy, and water treatment systems. Its smooth inner bore prevents product buildup and supports clean-in-place (CIP) procedures. Its translucent body allows for visual monitoring of flow, air pockets, or contamination without system interruption. With flexibility across a wide temperature range (–60°C to 180°C), it maintains structural integrity in both hot and cold processes.

Many facilities require tubing that can handle both aggressive cleaning protocols and continuous fluid transfer without compromising compliance or performance. Glitex® 525MS is designed to excel in these demanding environments. It reduces downtime by integrating seamlessly into CIP and sterilization cycles, minimizes risk of contamination with its non-reactive interior, and assures operators of compliance with industry standards like FDA, 3A Sanitary, and REACH.

  • Process Reliability: Maintains flexibility and integrity across wide temperature ranges and repeated cleaning cycles.
  • Operational Efficiency: Translucent walls provide clear flow visibility, simplifying system monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Regulatory Confidence: Built with compliant materials and tested to meet food and dairy processing standards.
  • Mechanical Strength: High tear resistance, tensile strength, and elongation values support high-cycle and high-pressure systems performance

This tubing is used in raw milk transport, reverse osmosis (RO) systems, distilled and deionized water lines, and other critical fluid handling processes. It performs reliably in beverage bottling, dairy processing, lab environments, and filtration systems requiring consistent flow and chemical resistance.

Glitex® 525MS is produced using materials that are compliant with FDA Title 21 CFR for food contact. It meets 3A Sanitary Standard 18-03 for use with dairy and food processing equipment and complies with REACH regulations. These certifications make it suitable for use in regulated environments with strict hygiene and traceability requirements.

Finger Lakes Extrusion manufactures this silicone tubing, which resists a wide range of chemicals, including acids, alkalis, and CIP cleaning agents. It is non-reactive and remains stable under sterilization, ozone exposure, and fluid pressure variations. This resistance ensures long-term performance in demanding processing applications.
