FLEX™ GP70 / GP70B

FLEX™ GP70 / GP70B General Purpose PVC Tubing is a versatile and durable solution for fluid transfer across various industries. Engineered from industrial-grade PVC, this tubing is designed for chemical compatibility, flexibility, and compliance with food safety regulations. Whether used in food and beverage processing, chemical transfer, or outdoor applications, FLEX™ GP70 / GP70B General Purpose PVC Tubing ensures reliable performance with consistent quality.

Regulatory Compliance & Safety

FLEX™ GP70 / GP70B General-Purpose PVC Tubing meets FDA requirements for food-contact applications, making it suitable for handling consumables, including beverages containing up to 50% alcohol. It complies with USDA acceptance standards for meat and poultry processing and meets RoHS and REACH regulations, ensuring it does not contain harmful substances such as PFAS or Proposition 65-listed chemicals.

Designed for repeated use in industrial applications, FLEX™ GP70 / GP70B General Purpose PVC Tubing is not intended for contact with infant formula or breast milk. It also meets UL94 HB/V-I flame resistance standards, featuring self-extinguishing properties that enhance safety in environments requiring fire-resistant materials.

FLEX™ GP70 / GP70B General-Purpose PVC Tubing is manufactured without fillers, ensuring high purity and maintaining its flexibility over time. It is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, gases, and liquids, making it suitable for industrial, medical, and food processing applications.

This tubing operates within a temperature range of -10°F to 175°F (-23°C to 82°C) and can withstand working pressures of 46 PSI at 73°F and 23 PSI at 125°F. With a tensile strength of 2,425 PSI and an ultimate elongation of 400%, FLEX™ GP70 / GP70B General Purpose PVC Tubing provides long-lasting durability for demanding applications.

FLEX™ GP70 General Purpose PVC Tubing is transparent, allowing for easy flow monitoring. Its clarity makes it a preferred choice in industries where visual inspection of fluid movement is critical. It is commonly used for general-purpose chemical transfer, beverage dispensing, and other non-regulated fluid applications.

FLEX™ GP70B General Purpose PVC Tubing shares the same chemical and fluid-handling capabilities as FLEX™ GP70 but is formulated for outdoor and light-sensitive applications. The black pigmentation enhances UV resistance, reducing degradation from prolonged sunlight exposure. Additionally, it prevents algae growth, making it ideal for applications requiring long-term performance in environments exposed to light and temperature fluctuations.

FLEX™ GP70 / GP70B General Purpose PVC Tubing is designed to meet the needs of multiple industries, including:

  • Food & Beverage Processing: Safe for contact with consumables, including dairy products, carbonated beverages, and fluid transfer systems.
  • Chemical Transfer: Compatible with a variety of chemicals, including weak acids and bases, making it ideal for industrial applications.
  • Medical & Laboratory Applications: Ensures reliable and controlled fluid transfer in research and pharmaceutical settings.
  • Pneumatics & Fluid Systems: Suitable for air and gas transfer applications requiring flexibility and chemical resistance.
  • Outdoor Fluid Handling: FLEX™ GP70B’s UV-resistant formulation makes it an excellent choice for systems exposed to direct sunlight and extreme environmental conditions.

All FLEX™ GP70 / GP70B tubing products offer the following:

  • Verified for level HB and V-1 in UL94 testing
  • Meets the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture acceptance standards for contact with meat and poultry food products
  • Meets RoHS and REACH standards, also does not contain any substances listed on Proposition 65
  • Acceptable for food contact by the following standard: Every substance selected to formulate the items below is either “generally recognized as safe” (GRAS), prior-sanctioned, subject to an effective Food Contact Notification (FCN), subject to a Threshold of Regulation (TOR) exemption, or identified on one or more following sections of Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations published by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA): 181.5, 181.27, 178.2010, 172.860, 174.5
