Reflecting on 2025: Innovations, Growth & Progress

Driving Innovation and Excellence: A Year of Growth at Finger Lakes Extrusion

At Finger Lakes Extrusion, our commitment to continuous improvement is at the heart of everything we do. Over the past year, we’ve invested in new technology, strengthened our internal systems, and expanded our team’s capabilities to deliver the highest-quality flexible tubing solutions to our customers. Here’s a look at some of the major milestones shaping our future.

Expanding Capacity with Our New Extruder

To meet growing demand and maintain the precision our customers expect, we added a new state-of-the-art extruder to our production floor. This equipment enhances our manufacturing capacity, broadens our product capabilities, and ensures consistent, high-quality tubing. With greater throughput and improved efficiency, we can respond faster to customer needs while maintaining the performance standards that define our brand.

Upgraded ERP System for Smarter Operations

Operational excellence is key to delivering great products, and our upgraded ERP system gives us a stronger digital backbone. The new system streamlines scheduling, inventory management, and order fulfillment, enabling improved accuracy across all departments. This upgrade positions us to scale more efficiently, reduce lead times, and provide an even smoother customer experience.

Leveraging Power BI for Better Decision-Making

Data drives good decisions, and this year we invested in Microsoft Power BI to take our analytics to the next level. With this advanced reporting platform, our team can visualize key metrics, identify trends, and make strategic decisions more quickly. Whether optimizing production or forecasting customer demand, Power BI helps us become more efficient and even more effective for our partners.

A New Training Platform to Support Our People

Our employees are the foundation of our success, which is why we invested in a new training platform to support ongoing learning and development. This initiative standardizes training processes, accelerates onboarding, and equips every team member with the tools they need to excel in their roles. By strengthening our workforce, we continue to build a culture centered on safety, quality, and growth.

Celebrating Our Team: 40 Years for Randy, 5 Years for Mike

This year also marks two major milestones within our team.

  • Randy celebrates 40 years with Finger Lakes Extrusion—a remarkable achievement that reflects his dedication, expertise, and leadership.
  • Mike celebrates 5 years, bringing innovation and energy that help propel our mission forward.

We are deeply grateful for their contributions and proud to celebrate their anniversaries.

Looking Ahead

The progress we’ve made this year is just the beginning. With new technology, enhanced systems, and a deeply committed team, we are better equipped than ever to deliver exceptional flexible tubing solutions. At Finger Lakes Extrusion, innovation isn’t just a goal, it’s a continuous journey.
