Introducing GLITEX® 525MS: Precision Silicone Tubing for Dairy

Dairy processors don’t get to choose between clean and durable: they need both, every shift, on equipment that’s cycled through CIP (clean-in-place) washdowns thousands of times a year. That’s the gap GLITEX® 525MS silicone tubing is built to close.

Why silicone tubing and why now

Raw milk transport, reverse osmosis systems, and CIP lines put tubing through a punishing combination: repeated exposure to caustic and acid cleaning agents, steam or hot-water sterilization cycles, and constant flexing at temperature extremes that would fatigue lesser materials within a season. GLITEX® 525MS is engineered specifically for that environment; an addition to our GLITEX® line alongside our established 218MS milk tubing and 300SS vacuum tubing, giving dairy processors a silicone option built to the same standard.

Tubing built for the realities of the parlor and the plant

  • Temperature range of –60°C to 180°C (–76°F to 356°F) — handles both refrigerated
raw milk transport and high-heat CIP/sterilization cycles without losing flexibility or
    integrity.
  • Smooth inner bore that resists product buildup and supports consistent clean-in-place
performance, so processors aren’t fighting residue between wash cycles.
  • Translucent construction for visual flow monitoring — see exactly what’s moving
through the line without breaking into it.
  • Resists acids, alkalis, CIP cleaning agents, sterilization, and ozone exposure — the
exact chemical stress profile of a working dairy plant.
  • Shore A hardness of 69, tensile strength of 9.5 N/mm2, and 335% ultimate elongation
    — durable enough to hold up under repeated flexing and connection cycles.

Compliance that matters in dairy tubing

GLITEX® 525MS meets FDA Title 21 CFR (food contact), 3-A Sanitary Standard 18-03
(the dairy processing industry’s own sanitary design standard), and REACH regulations
— the compliance stack processors and their auditors expect to see before a material
goes anywhere near a milk line

Where GLITEX® 525MS fits

  • Raw milk transport
  • Reverse osmosis systems
  • Distilled and deionized water lines
  • Beverage bottling and dairy processing
  • Lab and filtration environments

GLITEX® 525MS Available now
