Finger Lakes Extrusion will be at the annual convention of IAPD-The Performance Plastics Association this October in San Diego.
We’d love to connect with you there!
Finger Lakes Extrusion is right near the show entrance at exhibitor booth #2. Drop by anytime on October 24 from 12-4 p.m. to talk with our VP Erica Wright and learn more about our extensive and custom capabilities. Take away sample flexible tubing packs that showcase the variety of solutions we manufacture for diverse markets including:
- Food and beverage
- Industrial
- Medical devices
- Pharmaceutical
- Wastewater treatment
Our company has been part of IAPD for over 20 years. We’ve been active members and volunteers working to help shape the understanding and future of the performance plastics industry.
Erica has been a member of the IAPD Environmental Committee for several years. Sustainability is one of our company’s pillars. Our sustainability plan:
- Reduces waste and pollution
- Protects our waterways
- Optimizes the use of energy and materials
- Invests in our community
We recycle or reuse any unused materials in our production process. Any excess we cannot reuse is sent to other companies or recyclers that can.
For example, we sell excess braided tubing to a company that repurposes it into garden hoses. Over two years, this initiative has kept over 125,000 pounds of material out of landfills.
As a company based in New York’s Finger Lakes region, we’re solidly committed to protecting the water we all rely on. While at the convention, Erica will participate in a beach cleanup with the San Diego Coastkeeper organization that works to protect San Diego’s waterways.
And of course, what’s a trade show without fun giveaways? In a nod to the food and beverage industry we serve and our sustainability pledge – grab a pint-sized silicone cup to enjoy your favorite drink and a reusable tote bag to carry all your swag.
