BraidFLEX™ 70N: High Performance Under High Pressure

It’s used in wastewater treatment plants, medical devices, airplanes, car washes, and commercial soft serve ice cream machines.

We’re talking about BraidFLEX™ 70N, one of Finger Lakes Extrusion’s most in-demand products. It’s extremely versatile and durable for high-pressure applications because of its added inner polyester braid.

A smooth inner bore allows for steady, continuous flow. Think of the water rushing in the treatment plant, the soap blasting from the car wash sprayer, or medicine being delivered through a catheter. The smooth inner bore also allows for thorough cleaning and sterilization.

BraidFLEX™ 70N rates well on regulatory compliance and is therefore suited to a range of applications, from industrial to clinical to food. Customers can trust this product, like all our products, is made to perform to the highest standards and capabilities.

They can also trust in our safety and reliability. BraidFLEX™ 70N has a higher safety factor of 4:1 compared to other braided products on the market at 3:1. It’s strong, stable, and less likely to burst. In other words, BraidFLEX™ 70N can handle the pressure!

We manufacture BraidFLEX™ 70N in one continuous process on our longest and newest extrusion line. You can see it made here.

We can customize the number of tracer yarns in each tube, which helps the tubing stand up to rough handling. We can also add color yarns to the tube for identification and run the jacket in different colors.

Our President of Sales, Erica Wright, recently visited Atlanta International Airport to see the tubing in action. One of the largest airlines in the U.S. uses BraidFLEX™ 70N to transfer potable water from the airport facility to the plane.

Keeping with our commitment to sustainability, not one piece of tubing is wasted. We sell all excess braided tubing to a company that repurposes it into garden hoses.

Speaking of gardens, you’ll also find BraidFLEX™ 70N in lawn equipment like mowers and weed eaters.
